Abstract :
The two-dimensional problem of plane sound wave impulse scattering on the elastic circular cylindrical shell cracked along its infinite length and filled with viscous field is studied. The shell is surrounded by ideal compressible fluid. For the description of thin elastic shell dynamic equilibrium the Kirchhoff-Love theory is used. The shell defect influence on the echo-signal structure is investigated.
