Abstract
A novel equivalent circuit for the fishnet metamaterial structure is presented. Using the Rotated Transmission-Line Matrix (RTLM) method, the equivalent circuit of a three-dimensional metamaterial structure is obtained. By firstly employing the circuit model of the multi-resonance hybrid coupled filter, the RTLM equivalent circuit can be well analyzed and used to design high-performance fishnet metamaterial structures. In this paper, a two-order and a three-order fishnet structures can be designed by using the RTLM equivalent circuits. The simulation results verify the validity of the proposed method.
