Abstract :
We present a new method based on strong stochastic bounds and numerical computations on discrete distributions of failure time of the links to analyze the distribution of time before failure for some networks. The method provides a tradeoff between accuracy and computation times. We present the theory, the complexity of the analysis, the algorithms, and a small example to illustrate the approach. The method allows to model dependent failures.
