  • Abstract
This study assessed the capability of microclimate model ENVI-met to simulate three-dimensional (3D) land surface temperature (LST) in clear-sky periods. Field measurement data were collected in 3 days to drive and validate the model at point scale. Furthermore, MODIS LST products and Landsat-8 thermal infrared bands were used to validate daily variations and the spatial heterogeneity of simulation, respectively. The results indicate that ENVI-met model is capable of reasonably modeling the diurnal thermal behavior of different ground surfaces in the park, and generate continuous 3D temperature distribution, which provides input for 3D thermal remote sensing models or prior knowledge on monitoring applications.
