  • Abstract
    Spatial Overlay is an important operation, and it is generally on big spatial data nowadays. As a result, parallel spatial overlay algorithms are necessary. In this paper, we propose a novel method, which implements parallel reading from one single file stored in distributed file system and parallel computing on a cluster. The performance evaluation shows good speedup with tens of processes.
