Implementation of geographic knowledge in oil spill response plan for colombian offshore projects

This article develop a review of the current advances in Colombia related to the acquisition, storage, analysis, management and distribution of geographical information, as well as coordination strategies between National Government Entities and private companies to implement geographic knowledge applied to Oil spill response plans among the government and private companies.
