  • Abstract
    We experimentally demonstrate coherent perfect absorption of terahertz pulses by a self-complementary checkerboard-like metasurface. Under symmetrical illumination of terahertz pulses, the metasurface absorbs most of the incident energy below its diffraction frequency.
