  • Abstract
    We review recent work on electro-optical and all-optical techniques for generation, detection and processing of arbitrary complex-field optical signals based on time-domain holography. These techniques rely on intensity-only detection and modulation, greatly simplifying previous approaches for the management of complex (amplitude and phase) information.
