Abstract :
The design, implementation, and validation of a low-latency look-up-table-based centralized controller (LUCC) is presented. The LUCC is applied to different Mach-Zehnder Interferometer (MZI)-based photonic interconnects under dynamic workloads. We obtain a response time of only one clock cycle when using the LUCC in which the scalability can be up to 64 I/O ports.
