Abstract :
A DSP-aided transmitter-side crosstalk (XT) suppression technique for mode-unbundled transmission is proposed and demonstrated. The cooperatively-modulated OFDM subcarriers suppress the modal XT and enable the treatment of modes as individual channels without MIMO-DSP in a 30-km two-mode fiber link.
