Abstract
The paper describes the use of sigmoid functions for application in genetic algorithms to set robot optimal velocity profile. It describes basic formulas used for fitness calculation. The main focus is on calculation complexity problem with several suggestions and solutions based on usage of proper software implementation and proper mathematics functions. The last part describes coding of sigmoid functions to chromosome and other specificities implying from physical meanings of used formulas.
