Abstract :
In this paper, a numerical analysis for the simplified 2D aspect-limited case of the Intra-Wall Imaging (IWI) of sparse concealed objects under the hypothesis of the Born Approximation (BA) has been proposed. Such an analysis has been performed by changing the level of noise in the data and comparing the performance of the proposed algorithm with some standard approaches presented in the literature, both linear and nonlinear ones. Moreover, always exploiting the theory of Compressive Sensing (CS), such an approach has been generalized to the more difficult multi-frequency case, which lets it possible to reduce the number of data considerably while keeping reconstruction error as low as possible.
