  • Abstract
We presents a wide angle synthetic aperture radar (WASAR) imaging method based on the message passing with structured sparsity constraint. The motivation of this paper aims to improve the imaging performance and to explore the potential ofWASAR with the angle dependent scattering behavior of target. Intuitively, it can be inferred from studies of scattering persistence that the angle dependent scattering behavior possess underlying structure. We impose a generalized structure constraint on WASAR imaging problem and present a message passing based method. The proposed method exhibits good balance of accuracy and efficient in retrieving the scattering map on different viewing angle. The results of experiment demonstrate the effectiveness.
