Abstract :
This paper has presented a model for optimal allocation of reactive power in which, besides keeping the voltage range in its permissible one, voltage stability constraint during operation has also been taken care of. Cost functions of static compensators are used. The reactive power amount for generators, tap changes of transformers and their cost are provided and, additionally, active and reactive power of generators has been determined. In this method, active market results are presumed to be constant except for slack Bus generator. And, changes and increases in network load are also being taken into consideration during operation.
