Abstract :
The use of wind energy reduces air pollution and co2, but renewable units have the inherent irregularity and uncertainty. This is often troubling the using of renewable sources into different studies. In this paper, to evaluating the reliability of power distribution network under penetration of wind power, a model by taking into account the uncertainty of wind power has been established. Indices to evaluate the reliability of power distribution networks in the presence of wind power are obtained by using the Monte Carlo method and at the end, the effect of wind turbines penetration on reliability evaluation indices have been studied. The presented method can be used as a basis of assessing the reliability of distributed networks in the presence of wind power. 20 kV feeder Shibe Ab of Zabul city has considered as the case studying network. Also, the information of wind speed at the Zabul´s Lutek anemometer station for the wind power model has been used. To implement the proposed algorithm, MATLAB software is used.
