Abstract :
The purpose of consumption management is shaping the load curve in order to improve the efficiency and performance of electricity networks. One of operational objectives for consumption management in distribution companies is to reduce or shift the peak load to when the cost of electricity is lower in wholesale market. In this paper, the cost of energy from the point of view of the SISTAN and BALUCHESTAN distribution company as a buyer of energy in the on sale market of IRAN grid management company have been studied. The using data is according to the year 1392 data. by considering the energy consumption can be shifted in hours of a day, a method for decreasing cost of energy introduced and the results are shown in RIAL Cost saving. The goal is to reduce the cost of energy by changing load curve. The hours that the highest electricity costs have been paid by the SISTAN and BALUCHESTAN distribution company are calculated separately in two hot and cold seasons. In this paper, seven peak hours for the first six month of the year (hot seasons) and four hours for the second six month of the year (cold seasons) are considered. The reduction of energy per hour required to achieve highest energy reduction in the total cost is calculated and the value of the cost saving equivalent to this energy reduction is obtained about 41 billion RIALs in a year which is a significant value.
