Abstract :
In this paper we presented three different methods of extending the delay compensation range of the fiber optic system with stabilization of propagation delay. In the original design the acceptable fiber delay fluctuations were limited to about 100 ns, and after proposed modifications this range was increased up to about 1200 ns, which is enough for maintenance-free operation of 1000 km-long links dedicated for time and frequency distribution.
