  • Abstract
    In this paper, the author had done the fault analysis in the area of Power Transmission Line using Wavelet Multi-Resolution Technique. Different Realistic fault cases at different locations have been chosen for this fault investigation in the transmission lines. Adequate details and explanations are given for each assumption for more clarity and better understanding. The author with enough MATLAB simulation results explains various assumptions done by many different authors in their work. In this paper, a two terminal transmission line fed by two generators is used for the fault investigation. The author had compared the results obtained with travelling wave method. The author claims that the same technique can be used to determine fault in any multi terminal transmission line, if the voltage and current value at each bus is known, which is now readily available with the help of Phase Measurement.
