Framework of tag cloud layout personality

The human differences are one of important consideration before visualizing data information towards users. Many researchers suggested including personality traits as important components of visualization, which can result meaningful value for users who view it. This study discusses another prove of this matter on tag cloud visualization with inclusion of personality traits. This has been done by adjusting two main features (color and share) as a unity of tag cloud layout based on personality traits of Myers Briggs Types Indicator (MBTI). Moreover, the rule base system (RBS) approach is also utilized to create the relationship one another in form of framework (between visual features and personality components). To measure the satisfaction level of the purposed tag cloud layout, the system YouthPDA was developed. Basically, this system can suggest a user (youth) a bunch of careers, which is then visualized into tag cloud layout. The findings showed that respondent highly agreed to have satisfaction after seeing the proposed tag cloud layout. The findings indicate that personality traits have to be taken into account before displaying tag cloud visualization towards viewers.
