Abstract :
In the work we investigated the numerical calculation of scattering characteristics of polydisperse medium with Pruppacher-Pitter drops by using approximation of spherical drops, dipole scattering approximation and method of moments. The inverse problem to restore the rain intensity was solved by using double-frequency remote sensing at λ=0.8, 3.2 cm.
