Abstract
The work is devoted to the experimental study of the synthetic opals optical properties and matrix nanocomposites based on them with consideration of structural defects. Analysis of Raman spectra and X-Ray diffraction of nanocomposite opal-Bi12 SiO20 has shown that crystallization process of Bismuth silicon oxide could lead to the appearance of γ-phase. The enhancement of intensity of Raman and fluorescence spectra was observed. We have established that increase of structural defects amount in opal results in an increase of emission intensity of nanocomposites.
