Abstract :
Thermal vacuum processing method of brown coal is presented. The proposed method allows to obtain a fine powder of brown coal with a moisture content of 0.8% and up to 40 nm in a continuous drying and reducing it in the content of sulfur and nitrogen, which reduces harmful emissions into the atmosphere during its combustion to power station. Principle of the developed energy efficiency thermal vacuum drying apparatus is described. On the basis of experimental studies of the rate of two-phase flow is obtained, providing performance of the apparatus. The process of removing moisture from the brown coal during thermal vacuum drying unit is simulated, the results of the research are presented.
