Abstract
One of the major signs of the formation of a protostar in the core of molecular clouds is the existence of methanol masers. Currently, methanol masers separated by the mechanism of excitation into two classes - Class I and Class II. Both occur in regions of star formation, but the Class II is radiative pumping mechanism, so associated with such objects as an ultra-compact HII-zone and infrared sources, and the Class I has collisional pumping mechanism and often located in the cores with high-speed streams of substance. That is, these two classes of masers must exist in regions with different physical properties which can be studied by the radiation of other molecules.
