  • Abstract
Usability is a fundamental quality characteristic for the success of an interactive system. It is a concept that includes a set of metrics and methods in order for users to obtain easy-to-use and easy-to-learn systems. Usability evaluation methods are quite diverse, a large number of these can be employed to assess interactive software systems, but questions arise when deciding which method and/or combination of methods gives more (relevant) information. Moreover, the literature provides a high level description of the process of usability evaluation. In that sense, this paper presents the ECUSI (Collaborative Evaluation of the Usability of Interactive Systems) software tool, which aims to support the implementation of activities that make up a set of usability evaluation methods. This tool aims to be useful for usability evaluators of interactive systems.
