  • Abstract
Probabilistic Risk Assessment, PRA has been utilized for the safety of Nuclear Power Plants. In typical PRAs, the human error are considered in the development of fault trees as well as event trees for some special cases. They have been identified as important contributors to plant risk in many PRAs. Nevertheless, there are no HRA (human reliability ana1ysis) method universally accepted for quantifying the human error probability (HEP). So, in this paper, an example of the analysis of an aircraft accident was shown by using HRA method, THERP. This aircraft accident was actually occurred in Japan. Also, Importance Measure was performed to assess causes of this accident.
