Abstract
This paper presents optimal design of cryogenic simulation environment systems. The design of cryogenic environment consists of optimal design of cooling dehumidification, desiccant wheel and pre-treatment of regeneration air. Behind the dehumidifier, two refrigeration units are used as the secondary cooling and dehumidification in order to effectively reduce the fluctuation of indoor temperature and improve the accuracy of temperature control. In terms of thermal insulation, efficient building envelope is designed and used to reduce the interference of the system via analysis and calculation of the total thermal resistance. The experimental results of four working conditions demonstrate effectiveness of the design.
