Abstract :
More and more devices that support gesture interaction can be employed in intelligent space, bringing various interaction patterns, i.e. Barehanded/auxiliary touch/touch less mode. The diversity of gesture interaction devices results into the interaction complexity and great cognitive load for users. In order to reduce the users´ cognitive load, we designed unified gesture interaction method for multiple devices. Especially we defined a uniform interactive gesture set based on ordered geometrical parameters. Through usability testing, we verified that the method can reduce users´ learning time, decrease interaction difficulty, and increase users´ interaction efficiency.
