Abstract :
A simple dual-loop optoelectronic oscillator using monolithic dual-mode amplified feedback laser as the light source and filter is reported. A stable microwave signal at 38 GHz can be obtained with a phase noise of −99.25 dBc/Hz (10 kHz).
