Abstract
Based on the combination of fuzzy rules and evidence theory, a fuzzy evidential reasoning system is applied to evaluate the bidding behaviors of the generating companies in the electricity market. In the proposed approach, evaluating factors are described using fuzzy belief structures with relative importance weights, and belief rules are used to describe the uncertainty of the rules. Relevant rules are combined using the Dempster rule of combination.
