Abstract :
Given that conventional oil condition monitoring sensor usually has poor real-time performance and low sensitivity, this article proposes a new structure of wear particle sensor. Permanent magnets are arranged symmetrically to form stable and uniform magnetic field. Performance of the sensor is quantitatively assessed by particles with specified size which are enveloped in a wax block at specified position. After being amplified in a three-level amplifier, signal collected by the electromagnetic coil is transmitted into the computer and processed, and the relationship between output signal and size and position of particles can be obtained Experimental results indicate that sensitivity of this sensor can reach 100 μm, and the influence of particle position on the output signal is also validated.
