Ecological micro hydropower plant with axial hydro-turbine

Development of independent electric power supply systems based on micro hydropower plants that use the energy of small waterways involves meeting a variety of controversial requirements. The solution shall be quite simple and inexpensive. One of the promising concepts that satisfy the proposed requirements features is a gearless micro hydropower plant, where its axial hydroturbine blade wheel is utilized in conjuntion with an electric arc-type inductor generator.
