Abstract :
Fish-eye camera is a kind of large field of view camera, thus the image from fish-eye camera is severely distorted. So in this paper, we presented unwrapping of a fish-eye image with hemi-cylinder algorithm, which estimates the image distortion by using a flexible technique. The experimental result shows the accuracy of a flexible technique for calibration camera, and the undistorted image obtained from this process can be projected into hemi-cylinder plane. When compared with classical techniques, the proposed procedure is very useful for panoramic vision for many applications in vision field of robot.
