Abstract :
High pressure overshoot in pressure compensation (PC) function of an open circuit pump during dynamic testing was detected. The investigation of the root cause by simulation and experiment is described in this paper. Dynamic simulation analysis of the control functionality was performed using MATLAB/SIMULINK, and experimental study was done with different design changes based on the dynamic simulation results. The main factors affecting the overshoot are presented in this paper. The simulation and experimental results are showing that: The interaction with another control function (TC — torque control function) has a significant impact to the high pressure overshoot. The problem of pressure compensator overshoot has been solved after implementing the improvements.
