Abstract :
Currently, Cars do not have any instruments to measure the water levels in the washer tank of the cars. The high number of accidents relating to the uncleanness of the windscreen continued; In order to ensure the cleanness of the car windscreen, the washer tank which is used for storing the washing water must not be empty. The measurement of liquid level helped to remind drivers. Examples of liquid level detection are ultrasonic, hydrostatic, conductance, thermal dispersion, optics, magnetic floats, mechanical floats, radar and capacitance. In this project, a capacitive sensing system will be designed and made for the liquid level measurement first. Considering the contrast in permittivity between water and air, it was capable of detecting the presence of liquid in a car washer tank. Based on the design specifications, the Eagle will be used to build the PCB (Printed Circuit Board prototype. The case study is particularly useful in demonstrating the way to improve and developing the modern vehicles´ safety and reliability level.
