Session 23 — Modeling emerging devices

With the increasing interest in high-performance computing, mobile/wearable computing, bio-electronics, energy harvesting, a wide range of new devices are being developed and integrated with traditional CMOS devices. To validate the circuit/system performance and variability, compact models and variability analysis techniques are highly demanded. This session presents four papers describing compact models for emerging devices as well as modeling and statistical techniques accounting for device variability.
