Abstract :
We consider a production process begins with in-control state and produces product with multiple quality characteristics. The quality shift leads the process to out-of-control state and the equipment failure may occur under both quality states. A cost model is established to design the multivariate exponentially weighted moving average control chart in order to monitor the information of the production process.
