Abstract :
This paper offers an approach to measuring the transdisciplinarity of scientific problems. This approach allows us to evaluate which subject fields and the degree to which they correspond to the research field, determined by the scientific problem. The scientific problem can be determined via a scientific review. We can determine the vector of multiple disciplines (interdisciplinary vector) for all publications from the review. All the components of this vector show us the degree of application of the publication to the field of study. Therefore, the number of components is equal to the number of fields of study. The sum of the vectors of publications from scientific reviews shows us the measure of the transdisciplinarity of the problem.
