  • Abstract
In this paper, dynamic program is applied to EVT (Electric Variable Transmission) based HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) powertrain to realize its optimal control. To implement this algorithm, the model of this powertrain is built. Meanwhile, the approach to find optimal efficiency points of the ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) in series-parallel HEV is put forward. Simulation is done to prove the correctness of the model and the algorithm. The simulation result could be used to finish the optimal component sizing and extract real time control strategies for EVT based HEV powertrain. Also, the result can provide evaluation standard for other control strategies.
