Abstract
Considering the problem caused by the angle-measuring in the tracking process with the space tracking ship, a data fusion algorithm is proposed for the orbit determination with the rocket-borne GPS data and the tracking data obtained by the ship. The algorithm is evaluated by using the measured data obtained in a mission of one vehicle with 3 satellites. The simulation tests show its validity. With the introduction of the GPS data, the algorithm can improve the precision of the initial orbit and the intersatellite range determination.
