Abstract :
This article investigates the problem of distributed interference management in microcell systems, where many microcell base stations (MBSs) and user equipments (UEs) are randomly located and mutual interference only emerges between neighboring microcells. In addition, only local information can be utilized for each microcell. We propose a new resource multiplexing scheme-Soft Frequency-Time Reuse (SFTR) on the basis of Soft Frequency Reuse (SFR), which joint the frequency and time resource together. Then a soft frequency-time reuse game is formulated with the consideration of characteristics of local interference and it is proved to be an exact potential game with the optimal Nash equilibrium (NE) point maximizing the network throughput. Finally, simulations are conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
