Abstract :
Invariable quantity during propagation in nonlinear dispersive fiber is an ideal information carrier. This is eigenvalue of the associated equation of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation. We introduce eigenvalue modulated optical fiber transmission system based on digital coherent technology.
