Abstract :
Dual-loop optical feedback for phase noise reduction of period-one oscillations in an optically injected semiconductor laser is investigated via numerical simulation. The dual-loop optical feedback with incommensurate delay times effectively suppresses side peaks to below -94 dBc/Hz for photonic microwave generation.
