Abstract :
I present a high-speed imaging technique, known as sequentially timed all-optical mapping photography (STAMP), performing burst image acquisition without the need for repetitive measurements and without sacrificing high temporal resolution and image quality. As proof-of-principle demonstrations, it was employed to obtain motion pictures of femtosecond-laser induced ablation and phonon-polariton formation and propagation on sub-nanosecond time scale.
