Abstract :
In this paper, we compare two types of fuzzy rough reduction. One is based on dependency function, the other is based on discernibility matrix. We review and compare these two types of fuzzy rough reduction not only from the theoretical aspect, but also from the numerical experimental aspects. Finally, we point out the strengths and weaknesses of them respectively.
