Abstract :
GaoFen-1 whose longevity is designed and checked more than 5 years, is the first high-resolution and remote sensing satellite in China. It can achieve a combination of high resolution and wide imaging capabilities on the same satellite, and it will play a significant role in the development of national economy and variety kinds of industries. This paper will introduce the design and implementation of Geographic Information Public Service Platform (GIPSP) based on GaoFen-1. In addition, several key technologies used in the platform will be discussed including fast processing techniques of high resolution satellite image and tile map technology.
