Abstract
Fuzzy control theory is applied in this study for the control of indoor air quality and energy consumption. The air quality index is considered in this study. For the air temperature and the humidity, the ventilation and the air conditioning are both variables for the output control system. The indoor temperature, the humidity and the air quality are parameters to control the indoor environmental conditions. By fuzzy prediction, the energy balance between the indoor air quality and the energy consumption is optimized. The real-time monitoring system, and the data collection system are used. The fuzzy inference results corresponding to the measurement results verify that the results of inference is correct and feasible, and is able to optimize the energy usage with the optimized air quality.
