Abstract :
This paper presents a prototype for a risk project management game template (PrimaGate). The template was developed in order to offer instructors and learners a flexible tool to build or adapt project risk management games that could be included as part of the curriculum to teach project management. The core focus of the design was to create a learning environment that facilitates the involvement and engagement of learners and provides learners with a sound understanding of the complexity of the project risk management process as well as providing students with the necessary knowledge and skills to identify, assess, mitigate, and follow up project risks. The template also provides instructors with greater flexibility to specify the challenge level of the game and to adjust it according to the learner´s level of competence.
