Abstract
Polarization and depolarization currents in mylar strongly differ when carried out either in a vacuum or in humidity air. If vacuum is performed during polarization, a current inversion is observed. We interpreted this effect as a diffusion withdrawal of free carriers and polarized water molecules, for which a diffusion coefficient of 5×10−9 was tentatively found.
