Abstract :
We demonstrate a linearly polarized random lasing in a 1-km PM fiber with polarized pumping. Quantum efficiency of pump (~1.05μm) to 3rd Stokes (1.23μm) wave conversion exceeds 80% at ~10W power. Efficient higher-order Stokes generation at telecom wavelengths is possible.
