Abstract :
An 850 nm-band transverse coupled cavity VCSEL is demonstrated for enhancing the modulation bandwidth thanks to strong optical feedback. A record modulation bandwidth of over 30GHz is demonstrated even by overcompensating the detector bandwidth limit.
